Nine months and then some....

Let me start off by praising God for how much He continues to bless our lives.  We have the most unbelievably perfect little girl.   We've just been sitting back in awe of it all.... enjoying every second of watching Riley grow up.  If I could change one thing, it would be to slow it all down.  :)  Here's a little peek of some of the things she has been up to.......

If you put her in front of a basket of toys -- she will pull them all out... one by one and play with each of them.  It takes her hours.  Hours of continual entertainment for your child... DEFINITELY a blessing!

Currently, her favorite things (and mine too) are her blue ball from Nana, diaper cream, and a wooden spoon. 

If she hears someone laughing... she starts cracking up.  It is the most wonderfully contagious thing ever.

A "shout out" to my Dad!!

About a month ago, my dad went back to Toronto for their "Flashback Friday".  He and my mom had such a good time and were treated very special.  Here is the tribute they played to my dad as he was brought out on the field.

One thing's for sure... Riley is BUSY.  She is fully charged, cracking us up 99.9% of each day. She still has ZERO teeth and is not the least bit interested in crawling... but she manages to keep herself entertained!!!!  She cooks with me, reads the paper with me, goes to the pool with me, and also manages to keep a very busy social calendar.  Enjoy seeing her in ALL of her photos.... we do!

Miss Personality....

Now 8 months old, Riley is certainly FULL of personality!  She has so many faces and we adore each and every one.  We spent some time trying to capture them all to share with family and friends.  

An update on mom and dad... we had a wonderful time celebrating our 3rd Anniversary in Aruba. Thanks again to Nana and JoJo for taking care of Riley.  She had a ball.  

Our Little Traveler.....

From South Padre Island to Dallas.... Riley has been the perfect little traveler these past two weeks.  For Mommy and Daddy, it doesn't stop there.  We leave for Aruba on Saturday for our first week away from our little angel.  Is it possible she will forget us?  

Abby successfully made it to Alabama to join her new family and they are really enjoying her. We miss her terribly and hope to plan a trip to visit her later this summer.  

Riley is still changing everyday.  Matt and I sit and stare at her every evening in awe of how quickly she is growing up.  She seems to think we are very funny... and hearing her laugh is hands down the sweetest sound I've ever heard.
