My baby can READ!

I had to sneak this video while she was stuck turning the page so I apologize for the "down" time and extra footage. Let me translate for you.

This particular part of her Children's Bible reads:

"David stood before the giant Goliath. He said, "I have come to fight you in the name of God." He threw a rock at Goliath. The rock hit the giant right in the middle of his forehead. He would never bother the people again. David was a hero."

Of course... I realize she is a genius. ;) She takes after her mother. It takes an incredibly gifted and special child to read with out even looking at the pages.

It's been ONE year....

My baby is turning ONE this week and there isn't a SINGLE picture of her on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does this happen??? Well let me just list a few things that have kept us too busy to BLOG over the last 12 months.

1. We now have TWO children. Two children under 2 - 1/2, that is.

2. We have TWO children.

3. And last, but certainly not least -- we have TWO children. :)

Those of you that have 3+ children -- stop judging me. It is hard and I am tired. :)

Riley keeps me on my toes with questions like, "Is Jesus God?" and "Are you going to have more babies?" She is a manipulative sweetheart and loves to challenge me. She likes to tell everyone that she loves her little sister, but sometimes we aren't so sure. I caught her strangling Reesie yesterday evening after her little sister took a matchbox car from her.

Reesie on the other hand is a thrill seeker. We spend every waking moment trying to keep her alive. She will scale a brick wall and dive off before you can say "stop". She has been "cruising" and crawling and getting herself around for nearly 3 months. However, she is still a few weeks away from making it on her own as a "walker"/toddler. How can a non-walker still manage to get on top of the kitchen table?

I'm sure you would much rather see pictures, than hear from me. So here are a few from the last few weeks.
